Our story

Poppy and Blush started as a series of conversations - the kind you have at the kitchen table after the dishes are stacked and the day has slowed down. About clothes, friends, parents, kids, perimenopause, retirement, and what to do with all of it.

Lucy is mid-forties, in the thick of work and family. Isobel is recently retired, and figuring out what that actually means day-to-day. We're at different stages, which turns out to be the whole point: we get to argue, swap notes, and write the guide we wish we'd had.

So this is what you'll find here - style and home from Lucy, retired life and long-view perspective from Isobel, and a lot of overlap in the middle on the things that actually make a life feel good.
